Arrival by car

The most convenient way to reach the heart of Val Gardena/Gröden is via the Brenner motorway (A22): from the north via Innsbruck and the Passo del Brennero/Brenner Pass, from the south via Verona and Bolzano/Bozen. Leave the motorway at the exit for Klausen-Gröden/Chiusa-Val Gardena. From there you can reach Ortisei/St. Ulrich in about 20 minutes on a well signposted mountain road. Once there, follow the white hotel route until you reach your accommodation in Ortisei/St.Ulrich. In summer, summer tyres are compulsory in South Tyrol. For a problem-free journey, your car should also be equipped with winter tyres and preferably, even with snow chains! Once you arrive in Val Gardena/Gröden, you can park your car in our large car park or in the garage. With the Val Gardena Mobil Card, which you receive from us free of charge, you can use all buses in Val Gardena/Gröden for free. Our tip: use car-pooling to respect the environment. On platforms like blablacar.co.uk, fahrgemeinschaft.de or roadsharing.com you can find suitable carpools or offer one yourself.

Arrival by coach or bus

Long-distance buses such as Flixbus run to Chiusa/Klausen bus stop several times a day. There are comfortable and fast direct connections from Munich and Innsbruck. From Chiusa/Klausen you can take the bus to the centre of Ortisei/St. Ulrich, where we will gladly pick you up with our free shuttle. There is also a connecting shuttle bus, the ‘Südtirol Transfer’, for the last kilometres to your hotel: collective transfer from the nearest railway stations and long-distance bus stops to your South Tyrolean accommodation can be booked online at www.suedtiroltransfer.com/en.

Arrival by train

There are good IC and EC connections from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Belgium. They go via Munich, Innsbruck, and Brennero/Brenner to Bressanone/Brixen or Bolzano/Bozen: fast and safe, free of traffic jams and stress, without refuelling stops, and without toll charges.
